Privacy Notice
Last updated: 24 September 2026
Inishowen Construction Consultants Limited (“we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your personal information. This notice explains what we collect through www.inishowen.uk and how we use it.
Who we are
Inishowen Construction Consultants Limited is registered in England & Wales under company number 15723552. Our registered office is 14 Shortlands Close, London N18 1LQ. We are the controller of the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us at john@inishowen.uk or on 07943 624691.
What we collect
If you contact us by email, by phone or through the enquiry form on this website, we collect the details you give us. These typically include your name, email address, organisation, phone number and the content of your message. The enquiry form opens your own email program, so your enquiry reaches us as an ordinary email.
When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you requested. This is used to operate and secure the site.
How we use it and our lawful basis
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to discuss and provide our services, and to manage our business relationship with you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running and developing our business. Where we enter into or prepare to enter into a contract with you, the lawful basis is the performance of that contract. We will not use your details for marketing without your consent, and we never sell your information.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run our business. These are Netlify, Inc., which hosts this website, and Microsoft, which provides our email service. Fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser shares your IP address with Google when a page loads. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they are bound by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US Data Bridge. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies or analytics tracking.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for up to two years after our last contact, unless it leads to an appointment. Records relating to client engagements are kept for six years after the engagement ends, to meet our legal, tax and insurance obligations.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it to be transferred to someone else. To exercise any of these rights, email john@inishowen.uk. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
